Examination Registration Process

1. Submit an application along with the corresponding application fee and required documents to the Board Office. The Board will review your application.
2. ONLY AFTER BOARD APPROVAL, you must then register with NCEES and pay an examination fee to reserve a seat for the examination. Do not register with NCEES without board approval. Fees will not be refunded if you register and have not been approved by the LAPELS Board.
3. NCEES releases exam results 10 to 12 weeks after the exam date. NCEES will email results to examinees on behalf of the Louisiana Board. Please note: if you took the Louisiana State-Specific Land Surveying exam, those results will be reported to you separately by LAPELS.
